This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship Location: Los Angeles CA
Ideal intern:
• Must Be Able To Speak in front of Microphone / and in front of Camera
• Be strong in marketing, promotion and sales
• Be able to think and act quickly, precisely
• Can follow directions and complete tasks on time
• Be interested in guerrilla marketing & promotion
• Own your own computer
• Be enrolled in accredited entertainment business program (or related area)
• Commit at least 20hrs a week
• Ability to proofread and write persuasively
• Have your own car
• Have a can do / upbeat attitude
Details: Duties:
-assist producers in all areas (from talent booking, research, on-location shoots, brainstorming new show/segment ideas)
-Great knowledge of Hip-Hop / Pop Culture and news
-Coming up with talent pitch lists (music, fashion, tv, film, sports)
-travel to shoots, and being able to assist with errands/runs for production (must have own transportation)
-escorts guest in / out of studio
*Assist Host/producers with shoots--listed duties below:
-research celebrities/artists that will be interviewed
-ability to come up with creative angles and ideas
*On location shoots-duties below:
-assist producer and cameraman on location (basic duties)
-take photos of host and celebrity during shoot
-knowledge of flip cam use to shoot behind the scenes footage for host blog
-watching over equipment and personal belongings while host/cameraman are shooting
*Writing skills:
-assist hosts with blog entries
-must use creativity and come up with concepts to make blog more appealing to audience
-research pop culture news, and distribute info to hosts for writing ideas
-update twitter and social media pages
Looking for interns who want to be producers, or talent) Non-College students are encourager to applied as well
