Our radio station is to provide exposure for upcoming, unknown & independent Hip-Hop / R&B artist we look for the best of the best in music, acting, modeling to interview on our radio show Hype underground.
Our focus is to market independent artist to give exposure to artists and to provide resources for Independent artists. As you know you are part of a group that many want to hear but many unsigned artists do not have the right resources or money to market their music and can not compete with major and some independent record labels. For radio promotion a local radio station out here in Los Angeles ask for $5,000 that is not including a radio interview or heavy rotation. Over the past years we have always supports independent artists but never offer radio rotation to unsigned artist at the time our play list was 100% commercial music, since late 2007 KYHY 92.5 "The Why" has change our format to 100% independent. How do I get started? To have music considered for airplay on our station, please send us the below information to us via mail or fax or email

- Picture of artist/group or album/cd cover
- Bio / Media Kit (If available only if you want radio interview)
- Insight on what the song is about
- Album or Mixtape Name (If applicable)
- Producer
- Is the song original?
- Contact Information (MySpace Page, Website, etc.)
- Are you with ASCAP, BMI or any other performing rights organization?
- Print, Read and Sign the forms and return them to us (via fax or mail )
